Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system - CATUBE
- Usage
- CATube is a nylon-coated aluminum tube, by far the best alternative to the copper tube widely used for external connecting lines of heat exchangers.
- Advantages
- ① Lightweight : CATube is in weight only 35% of copper tubes of the same mass, and therefore costs less resources to install or deliver
② Workability : CATube is easier to bend than copper tubes, but its nylon resin also keeps CATube from warping
③ Resistance to corrosion : CATube is semi-permanently anti-corrosion because of its special nylon resin
④ Resistance to pressure: CATube can endure pressure 3 to 5 times higher than copper tubes of the same specs
⑤ Reduced cost : Compared to copper tubes, CATube is a much cheaper option - Measurements
- CATube’s standard outside diameters are identical with those of copper tubes and CATube is compatible with regular copper tubes’ fittings.
